While I’ve been recovering from hip replacement surgery and hunkering down and enjoying my family over the holidays, I’ve also been planning for 2018. I’ve really felt God leading me to try some new and scary things. While I’m not yet ready to reveal everything about the new things I’m working on, I can tell you I have decided to begin podcasting as my main form of ministering to you and serving you in the new year.
If you’re unfamiliar with podcasts, it is basically like a radio show. Only you as the listener get to curate exactly what you want to hear. And you can listen whenever and wherever you want. You can start an episode and pause it and pick up where you left off later.
A podcast offers several benefits to you over blogging. With your busy lifestyle, you need to be able to access support, inspiration, and encouragement while you are on the go. It isn’t always possible to sit and read a blog post, but you can pop your ear buds in while you exercise or clean house. Listen while commuting to work, driving the kids, or sitting on the sidelines at one of their umpteen-bazillion practices and you transform time spent waiting into time spent nurturing yourself.
With a weekly podcast, I can speak truth and grace into your stress-out soul and hopefully offer you opportunities to renew your mind with God’s Word and equip you with biblical strategies to revitalize your relationships (with God, yourself, and others). Each Thursday, I’ll help you restore balance and calm to an often stretched-too-thin life and help you build your life on the solid foundation of Christ rather than the shifting sand of the world.
While everyone is welcome to listen to the podcast, I’m specifically crafting this material to minister to busy Christian women who often juggle wearing a lot of different hats during a single day. Your typical week probably casts you in various roles such as: mom, professional, volunteer, wife, church member, sibling, adult child to aging parents, and so forth.
Sound like you?
If so, would you be willing to spend about 10 to 15 minutes on the phone with me and let me pick your brain about what you’d be most interested in hearing on the podcast? I want to hear about your life:
- what challenges you face in a typical week,
- what you do to unwind your mind and refill your soul,
- what entertains you, excites, you, and scares you.
I also want to know who you’d love to hear interviewed. I hope to offer a few great interviews each season. So, for a moment, pretend we could wave a magic wand and you could grab coffee with an author, speaker, pastor, singer, missionary, or some other Christian who inspires or fascinates you. Who would you choose and what questions would you ask them? I’ll reach out and see if I can get them on the podcast (hey, the worst they can do is say no, right?).
So, let’s chat. Pick your time by clicking this link. Once you book your time, I’ll send you an email confirming our phone call.
